THE TEAM

I am the founder/owner of the swim school in 2014. I am fully qualified with my parent and baby qualification as well as the understanding autism level 3 qualification. I have been teaching for over 20 years and I enjoy seeing the progression in each child or adult from having no confidence in the water to enjoying swimming or just being in the water. I have experience working with SEN children. I teach baby/toddler, older children and adult lessons along with school lessons as well. I teach at Stamford Bridge on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, the pool in Cottingham on Thursdays and the baby/toddler lessons at the pool on Beverley Road in Hull on Tuesday and Friday mornings.

Laura is 27 and is a fully qualified teacher with her parent and baby qualification and understanding autism level 2 qualification. She is passionate about teaching children to swim while building their confidence and safety awareness in the water. She has experience working with SEN children and takes a patient and supportive approach while ensuring every child feels comfortable, encouraged and able to progress at their own pace. She teaches on Mondays at the pool in Cottingham.

Jess is a fully qualified teacher. She started swimming when she was 7 years old and has been competing ever since. She currently trains 4 times a week and her favourite stroke is breaststroke. Her proudest accomplishment was when she first qualified and competed in the Yorkshire championships. In 2022 she started volunteer teaching the younger members of the swimming club. She enjoys seeing them develop and progress with their swimming while also having fun. Her passion for teaching swimming developed and so she got her qualification. She enjoys teaching and passing on her passion for the sport. She teaches on Tuesdays at Ganton School.
